BALLPARK
An estimation game for 3–12 people

Nobody knows the answer. That is the whole point.

One question with no lookup-able answer. Thirty seconds. Everybody guesses a number, blind. Then every guess lands on the same line, next to the truth, and you find out you were off by forty thousand.

One

A question appears. How many cubic kilometres of ice does Antarctica lose in a year?

Two

Everyone locks in a number on their own phone. No changing it. No conferring.

Three

The truth lands. Closest wins the round. Everyone argues about who should have known.

74
Your calibration score

One number for how well you judge scale. It goes down as readily as up, and it tells you which single answer moved it. No badges, no streaks to protect, no daily reminder.

House rules

Played in a bar, tables usually put something on the line — the furthest guess buys, or takes a sip. That is a house rule you apply yourselves, the way you would to any card game. Ballpark doesn't track it, count it, or tell anyone to drink anything. The app shows a number and moves on to the next question. Soft Mode removes the mention entirely.
